Hey Wizards,

I have an Ofna Hyper 7 PBS and I am doing my winter re-build. I just bought the Futaba 3PK radio and the 2.4 ghz conversion system. But I really don't know what to look for in servo's? I am more of a basher but I would like to try the track this summer. Can anbody provide me with some insight (make & part #) for good digital servo's that will fit this 1/8th scale buggy? :redbuggy:

Thanks Much.

Well, I'm partial to Futaba stuff so I'd say an S9452 for steering and S9351 for throttle/brake. Both of these are new as they replace their previous models S9451 & S9350 respectively.

I believe the S9350 may still be available @ Towerhobbies for $10 less than the S9351 but the 351 is a significant upgrade with regards to torque.

Thanks for your help and suggestions. I will check these out and see if they are the right fit. I have heard people say that, Ace is the best and Hitec are the best as well as good things about Futaba servo's. I guess it's to each his own but I would like to build a little durability into my buggy. I am sure anything with more torque then the factory servo's will make a huge diffrence? Again Thanks....

I stick with Futabas because they havn't let me down yet. I've had the same two digital servos in both my TMaxx and buggy for the past 3 years. I had a good wreck this summer which broke the casing on one but there was zero damage to the internals. The other one went for a short swim but didn't short out and survived to turn another day. I have nothing but Futaba digitals in all 3 of my larger r/c's.

Wow thats some pretty impressive performance. I think that you may have pushed me a direction I was pondering. I guess it is also good that the Radio and Servo's are made by the same people? Thanks very much for your input. I will now see if my local has the servo's you had mentioned.

Regards:
