I'm trying to organize my work space. I have RC cars from scales 1:18 to 1:5, what screw diameters will I come across? I'm looking to buy (lock)nuts

+1 to what Kevin posted.

Additionally, I'd recommend keeping a wish list handy. Using the owners manual, record size and p/n of screws and bolts you remove and replace during routine maintenance. Those will wear out the nylon locker sooner. Lay in a supply of wheel nuts. Both flanged and unflanged. Serrated and un-serrated. Different wheels sometimes will only accept one or the other - or one will work better than the other in your specific build.

Hope this helps. Cheers. -AC

Don't forget your 2-56, 4-40, 5-40, and 8-82 threaded stuff. :p ;)😁 It's possible. Right?

I made a huge clean up a couple months ago, but that doesn't mean that what's left is actually organized. I currently got washers, locknuts, (set)screws, O-rings, batteries, body clips and servos all spread and mixed across various boxes with no real order LOL
Yesterday I ordered 6 organizer grid boxes. They're quite bigger than what I currently have, so I have much extra space for additional sizes. Currently I'll sort M1.8, M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, M6, M8 diameters (larger sizes so my dad can make use of it as well). Just hope I won't come across this🤣
Pfft. Try installing these. The big one is an M3.

Good move ordering grid boxes. Organizing fasteners will make life on the hobby bench much better.

I've had my grid boxes for so long the latches have worn out. Have to tape the lids closed to ensure they won't open when the box gets knocked about on the storage shelf. Oh, and keep a small pair of tweezers and a magnet handy. They help in getting to that one screw you spot in the grid that is always hard to get to. Smaller washers, M2 and M3 locks and flats and countersinks, get safety pinned through their centers to organize together. ;) -AC
