What mod'd engine has proven more bad ass on the low/mid range then the picco .26?

Whaddup guys,

Well my CyberMaxx is almost a done deal minus an engine (a pretty big part of the project if you ask me...lol). I've researched all that RC has to offer and it seems that no engine is more bad ass on the low/mid range then the PIcco/Wasp .26. I'll be running an almost bulletproof tranny and diffs so I'm not worried about insane power screwing up my drivelines. If somone knows of a proven MOD'D engine that's more powerfull on the low/mid range then the Picco .26/Wasp then I'd love to hear about it. I'm not rich but money really isn't an issue for this project.

Thanks

While Error will not agree with me totally on this one the Sirio 27 has insane power. It's almost like you hit the gas and are at full speed long before you wanted. He says it's lacking midrange. I say it has plenty of mid range you just have to know the thing has insane power overall.

Hey EP, Thanks for chimming in bro but I've driven a Stock and Mod'd Sirio .27. It's got insane top end (like most Sirio engines IME) but a stock .27 can't hold a candle to the low/mid of a Picco/Wasp .26 ime. A mod'd .26 IME will take longer to catch up but on the top end will actually smoke a stock Siro .27. A mod'd Sirio .27 IME isn't worth the price of a mod (unless your buddy is doing it for free) as it's not much more then stock.

Sirio Italia builds great nitro engines for what it's worth but they're ultra mod'd factory and don't uuuuhh tolerate much Mod'ing. What I'm trying to say is, if I was a rich kid with access to anaything I wanted but no access to pro mod'ing. I'd go for a sirio. If not I'd buy a Picco or Wasp .26 and have it mod'd IME.

I'm looking for sick ass low/mid range and so far it doesn't' get better then a MOD'd Picco/Wasp .26.

I've heard/read that ebmods picco .26's are absolutly insane...as in more power than any other mill availible insane. i think ebmods does the full race mod for 75$. how about getting a wasp and sending it to eb?
