What Kind Of Music

What kind of music does everyone listen to? I listen to almost everything except that gangster rap garbage and country. I grew up on Van Halen and Ted Nugent and such like that. I also listen to techno, emo, death metal, hardcore, and stuff like that. But everyone has to hae that random side tot hem and that is Prince for me, lol. Prince is just so damn addicted to sex its crazy, not sure if its women or men he's in to but he is sure into it.

Rock,deathmetal,snd poop close to that.i used to listen to Eminem but i quit on him.now it is just hardcore metal,rock acid rock,and poop relating to that.and i grew up on all the oldie rock.

I listen to everything but R & B slow sh!t. I mostly listen to alternative. Godsmack, Disturbed, Pearl Jam, Puddle of Mud and so forth. Godsmack rules though!

Rammstein = Crazy german techno speedmetal, lol. Have you ever heard their version of "Barbie Girl." It's so damn funny. We like ot blast it along with the original version on the West Side of town.

I've heard their verison of it and IMO it sounds better than the orginial.

indie, garage rock, punk, classic rock and rap!!!!! i try to stay open minded to all genres of music..... they all have their own special quality and message.....the only thing i will never open up to is, and i mean never is goddamn christian rock....total crap!!! ne way that's it...

any Black Sab, Sex Pistols, E-40, Tenacious D, any good punk really, that's what comes to mind immediately. Most probably don't know who E-40 is as he is local to the San Fransico bay area.

regardless of the genre of music you love you have to respect the modern poetic quality in many of 2pacs songs...yes he had quite a few of those standard "gangsta rap" style songs..but he also had a lot that if you listen thru them intently they will move you regardless of your musical/cultural background.

as for me i enjoy all music...mostly my choice of music depends on were i am/what I'm doing...if I'm driving or working out then rock of all kinds new, old, soft hard...well...rocks..and if I'm at a club were the girls are at you gota have some hip-hop or even some trance in there so you can get down with the ladies...unless everyone here is too many to dance haha.
but i would havto to say my true favorite is stuff like POD, linkin park, rammstien, sevendust.

As far as 2Pac goes. I was never real big on his music. It wasn't horrible as today's rap is always talking about, bitches,money and hoes, etc. 2Pac did have alot of good poems too, and in alot of his song he had good meanings and faced issues of the world.

Any thing that is based on 60s and 70s rock and roll. Heavy metal, Progressive metal,modern hard rock,alt rock,classical,
Jazz,swing,Opera, and others that escape me at the moment.
HOWEVER, I cannot stand anything gangsta,rap,hip/hop or others in that vein. Please don't freak out on me for this but I can see a definate rise in the street violence in my state since the hardcore poop came to pass. These punks think it is the coolest poop to go be like their fav Rap star and shoot up the place.
