what is the right temp for tuned truck?

hey all.. i got a trx 3.3 and always had it tuned about right just by common signs.. but i got a temp gun a few days ago and am wanting to tune it with that just to be safe.. so what is the average or safe temp for tuning??

Keep 'er under 270. Every engines different; even the same makes. If it rips at 250, better yet. As long as your not blowing plugs all the time or going through excess fuel.
