I have had a dynamite one for about 3 years now and still works like new.. and its been dropped and what not a number of times..

i have that same one and it sucks lol..i don't know if it was defected or what but i wouldn't buy it again if there all like that...

Forget rechargeable crud. Those ruin you're day. Get a dynamite or associated D cell ignitor for less money. I have the dynamite one and it ROCKS!!

I use that one, and I see a lot of others do, as well. I haven't had mine long, but I hear good things about the Magnum.

I have the same Magnum Skwerly. Works great!
Get the type that has a user replaceable sub-C cell like the first one posted. Take out the cell it comes with and drop in a race cell like an IB4600. You'll be able to go weeks without having to charge it.

i got like 2039434 lighters and my favorite one is a dynamite c cell lighter with a energizer lithium battery in it and i used it about 300 times this month with out replaceing the battery yet.

You could get a D-cell ignitor and then drop in a rechargeable D-cell. D cells go up to like 10 amps I think...
