I'm looking for the best plug to buy for my traxxas 3.3 We have went thru alot of traxxas plugs already and had a running issue on one truck that was fixed with a HOT OS plug. It made a big differance in how it ran. AS of know I'm likeing the OS plugs you can tell a big differance in how the HOT OS plug burns compaired to the traxxas plug. IS there any better plugs out there ????

Thats a loaded question cause you can ask it to 10 different people and probably get 6-7 different answers. Its personal preference IMO. I burn Dynamites and Mccoys medium plugs and typically get quite a bit of life thru them

I can't find any info what mcCoy plug to run or there web site to read up on them??

This is what i found when i googled it.

i run the MC-59 in all mine.

McCoy Glow Plugs

MC-4C 4-Cycle Engines
MC-50 R/C LONG With Idle Bar-Planes
MC-55 HOT Low Nitro - Planes, Tether Cars, Etc.
MC-59 HOT Low to Med. Nitro - Boats, Planes, Helicopters and 1/10 Scale Cars
MC-8 MED-COLD Med. to High Nitro - Boats, Cars, Planes
MC-9 COLD Med. to High Nitro - Cars, Boats, Ducted Fan and Giant Scale Planes
MC-14 HOT Helicopters and 4-Cycle Engines

I used to run McCoy 8 which i liked but i switched to O'Donnell 100 plugs i don't notice much performance deference. The O'Donnell plugs do last longer in my engine.

so true ! i have run Mccoys only to have them burn up quicker than my traxxas plugs. as you can see from the post's it's more of a personal preference than one plug being really better than another. i have found that your tune really plays the biggest part in toasting plugs regardless of what plug your using. that said also factor in what fuel your running, and what temps your running your nitro at !

my os plugs also worked pretty good !

Hi, plugs it depends on your application, how you tune your rc cars and what nitro content you are using. For me I have LRP ZR30 SPEC 2 ENGINE, LRP Z21R SPEC 2 ENGINE, LRP 18R SPEC 2 ENGINE, SH 28. XTM 28 ENGINE ALL OF THEM I MODIFIED INSIDE AND I AM USING ONLY R5 AND A5 formerly #10.
And I have no problem for the power and changing everytime.
