Hey Guys,

I am not sure if this is the right forum to post this question or not, but I see alot of guys talking about there mini T's. What is a mini T? If it is this popular I have to have one!! LOL Thanks

Tom

No you don't! I had one and hated it. You need to do about $200 in hop ups right away before it's even worth a crap. I used mine for less than an hour before I got rid of it.

But to answer your question, it is a 1:18 version of a Losi xxx-t

I got one for my 8 year old daughter..they're "cute" RCs......if you really want one of the pocket sized racers get the RC18t...the pro version.....it's a little more but worth it.....to make one fun to run.....it's about 350......they are great if you're in an office all day or my friend works in a museum in WPB they have a 1/18 track set up in the warehouse made from canvas draped over boxes w/ packing stuff under the canvas as well to smooth out the corners.....funny as hell to watch em race....there's also a bar up there that has "drinking and driving" nite..indoor mini-t track and the bar has 1 of each channel (6 total)...my friend keeps trying to get me to go but it's too far to drive back home after a bar......

i had 1 .. and i liked a lot.. used it on my track all the time.. there are very fast...thanks curtis

Hey godale03,
How are you?
My wife had to have one. They are a fun little car. Upgrades are unreal! I have the nicad batteries and monster motor in ours. Been wanting to go farther with it but haven't.
Here is a couple of links:

Amazes me how many parts you can get. And the different looks you can come up with. But I could also see putting a lot of money in one too.

I want to do my M18 up real sick.....I see some w/ brushless motors and Lipo Batts say they do over 50Mph.......I saw a few go on a track and they were killing the 12th scale times by 3-5 seconds

I actually want the RC18T more as the Mini T just didn't cut it for me. Great little thing but you need to add few things to get it to a cetain level. I personally would get a Mamba brushless to make it go and a set of LipO cells to help it.Not sure if the combo is possible but that would be my route.

Hey Digger,

Doing just fine, the weather is finally starting to break in MD and so I am out there trying to get the Xterm broken in before points racing starts in a couple of weeks. We spent a few of the dry weekends working on the track config. Looks cool. Other than that.... SSDD. How about you? Take care my friend.

Tom

Don't have a track close. Mostly me and the wife bashing. Sometimes my son will go. Have a buddy I fly with goes sometimes.

Good luck. Expect some stories about smoking some of the higher end buggies.

You got it! In fact we have three Xterms racing this year. I will let you know how we stack up against the Ofnas, Mugens, and Kyoshos. I always love the look on their faces when I tell them what kind of bug I run. Still priceless, never gets old. Take care my friend. Thank you again, for all the info on the Xterm, it helped alot.

Tom

Have a seriously souped up Mini-T Pro,great little truck. The RTR standard out of the box is a slow, cheapie. But the PRO version with a few well placed upgrades and a Mamba/LiPo ....zoom it flies.
