I'm not sure.
Everyone was supposed to post a photo of their unpainted body by the 1st to enter the contest. Seems as if it craped out.

Ohh.... I wouldve, but I thought the contest started after the first (thats when I thought you enter your body). I guess I was wrong. I thought the time before was to say if you are willing to contribute to the competition or not. My bad.

I do, I do.. I also have a retarded Xmas gift here just screaming for someone...

I'm still in if it's a go. I didn't realize we had to post the pic of the unpainted body by the 1st. My fault for not reading the rules close enough. If we get all the usual suspects to chime in again I'm happy to have at it. I've been sketching out my paint for the past week or 2.

I'm in too!

I tried lookin for the thread yesterday and all that came up was stuff from like 2 years ago. I finally got around to taking a picture of the unpainted body with a recent newpaper but couldn't find the thread.

Maybe we should start from scratch huh? Make a sticky thread and new registration date. probably should reclaify the rules and catagories right from the get go so there is no confusion. I thought there was gonna be a good turnout then it just like dissappeared.

What categories do you guys want to have.
We need to make it so everyone can be involved and to to get some new painters on the band wagon.

hmmm.. catagories. That's a little tricky. I'm not really sure what is the best or most fair way to catagorize this contest. There are sooo many variables... experience, complexity of design, techniques. I just don't know.

if anything I definately think we need to divide the entries into 2 groups... rattle can & airbrush

make the catagories simple for the first time. nOob, rattle can, air brush, unlimited.

noOb has to be your first time to paint a body. rattle can means ONLY rattle cans, air brush means you can use a air brush, unlimited mean anything goes!!

if that works maby we can make it a regular thing and have more defined catagorys

Some ideas.
Each body can take only one prize.

Airbrush:
Best of Class
Most innovative design
Best use of 3 or less colors

Rattle can:
Best of class
Best 2 color design
Best use of stickers

My opinion is more like Eddy's. I don't know if we should have to think about a certain category before we enter. Make it simple. Airbrush or rattle can. Then, within those categories have a few awards. I like Eddy's system.

i agree with what lessen said. when might this thing start because i want to enter if thats ok:banana:

Eddy, the original post never said anything about posting a pic of the unpaited body by the first. Rather it stated to post in the thread by the 1st if you wanted to enter. I am still in and also like the Rattle can, airbrush categories, just keep it simple. Are we limited to one category? One entry?

I think a maximum of 2 entries per person, one for each catagory. The more the merrier as long as the catagories aren't too complicated. Eddy's idea is nice and simple, it allows bodies of varied complexities a chance to win something.

I'll be in for one...
