SO many types and brands of glow plugs and I have no clue how to pick them. I have the T-Maxx 2.5 and use their Top Fuel 20%.

Thanks for the help.

The guys here have been having success with OS #8 plugs. The coils *will* go away in a hurry if you run the engine too lean, though.

I run an O.S. A5
The stinger on some glow plugs such as this one are too big in diameter for the blue wire, so if you don't already you might have to invest in a glow plug ignightor, or modify the blue wire.:2cents:

stretch the spring opening a bit

requires a pair of needlenose pliers and ~30 seconds

I also say, Mc59, and OS #8.
I have used the os. r5, and a5 as well. I liked them too.

Well, in my OS 15 CV-R(X), I used OS A3. In my 21 RG, I used OS A3 with mixed results.

I have since changed venues, orion wasp 18 in 1 maxx, Omega 21 Sport Comp in my other maxx.

I'm in the middle of breaking in the 18 with an A3. For the 21, I use OS's #8 (can't remember if it's 8 or A8). Anyway, in my 21, the 8 gets much better power and lower engine temps and more consistent running than a OS 5 or OS A3.
