I just bought a Losi Desert Buggy and now I see this. I might have to revisit the rc-holic thread. I see a 1/8 Desert Buggy in my future.

I've heard mixed things about it, I guess it needs a little work out of the box but upgrades are available as it's based on the RC8. Iirc out of the box it doesn't handle that well and needs some suspension tuning and the tires are kind of Meh. But I might be thinking of a different one.

You bought a DBXL or a DBXL-E?

I bought a Tenacity DB. This one looks sweet too. I think Losi is really starting to get hings going.

Looks cool and all, the handling of such shortwheel base platform is not that great.

Way too much money for me.
I dig rc cars and trucks, but my real kick is glow and electric rc planes, and large scale bajas 1/5th when is that price range.

But if I see one on the field, sure, they look cool...
