hey all, i just purchassed a mach .26 for very cheap and wanted to put it on my revo. basically i want to no what i have to do to get it to fit, i purchased a big block engine mount but it does not fit b/c the engine is pull start what are my options? any help what so ever would defenitly be great thanks in advance!:constipat

If it is just the pull start that is keeping it from fitting the spin start back plate for that engine is readily available on ebay and is a bunch smaller then the pull start.

New Era leaner BB conversion

With that, you can install pretty much whatever engine you feel like. Then you need to determine what pipe to use. Side or rear.

I went with a side exhaust, duratrax warhead header/pipe off ebay. Worked out really well, but I couldn't drive the revo with all the power... I went back to my 18Tm after about a gallon or less. I was running an XTM 24.7 which is very similar to the mach 26.

What mine looked like:

hey, what's keeping the engine from not fitting???
be more specific, no offense but no one can help you if you don't list specifics!
truthfully you should buy the traxxas big block conversion, because it is meant to fit and meant to fit the engine right, you should go with rear exhaust, because that means a shorter header which means more power.
also, you may want to find a roto-start conversion or just put the dynamite spin start on it!
i would personally go with the spin start. my lst fires right up with the spin start. also try to find a smaller engine for the revo like a decent .21 (OFNA PICCO .21 or .26 MAX) those are meant for traxxas's, it will save you lots of money in the long run, because that .26 will cause you to break stuff, meaning you have to go buy more upgrades, if you are sure on big block go with it.
but if not go with a high end small block like the o.s. .18TM, that engine is meant for the revo and has plenty enough power
