I can't say I'm 'growing' these strawberries but they grow all over my yard!
We have been eating wild strawberries here for about 2 weeks now.
They are tiny compared to berries you'd find at a store but no kidding, they are every bit as flavorful!
Its like having a free candy dispenser across the whole yard!

Raspberries are starting to come in now so that will be fun too!

Does anyone else have any fun, wild snack plants in the area???

Nice!

Unfortunately, no wild fruits on my property. We have 3 blueberry bushes that we had planted into the ground years ago. Every year it would bear a lot of berries, but the critters would strip them bare before they would fully ripen.
The 3 bushes are full of green berries right now, and I may wrap some of the branches in a tulle cloth to reserve some berries for us.

Funny! We also have 3 blueberry bushes planted and some wild on the edges of our property.
Last year we got some good berries before the wild turkeys raided us.
No wild turkeys sighted in the yard at all yet this season. 🤞

lifes been on the attack these past few months, have sort of neglected my girls, getting them back on track.
these are all part of a perpetual harvest system, the very beginnings of one. i have 4 mother plants from 3 different strains ( one strain has 2 plants so i will only keep one for the mother room)

1 hawaian snowcone
award winning strain (possible extracts strain) – Extremely popular with washers
intense snow cone terps large yield
Hawaiian snow cone linage = Detroit Runtz x Hawaiian Plushers
Detroit Runtz = Runtz x pancakes
Hawaiian plushers = Peach Rings x Lemonade Gushers

1 Tiki Cuts Rum Cake ( going to be my squish strain is allegedly a very very good washer)
2 Catamet the catamet is my own personal strain i breed for my personal smoke a few years back, i was surprised the beans popped. i have 3 different phenotypes; one was prone to mutation right off the bat so it just stayed in flower while the other catamet ladies went back into the veg tent to reveg. This transition from flower back to veg makes for some insane branching on the plant.
Going simple at the moment but really thinking about firing up the old hydro table again.

They are all recovering from a forced famine, i was just keeping them alive, but now we are ready to get back into the saddle. i need more distractions at the moment

Currently getting 5g/gal of Mega Crop 1-part fertilizer. i love this stuff; it works so well. i gave them each a small dose of calmag to help them recover from the lack of nutrients for such a long time, and their color is returning nicely,

The snowcone is ready to start producing healthy clones. I'm going to give her another week to recover, then it's time for cuttings!!

Wow! They look great! Its exciting to see all the labor actually paying off! You have quite a selection going there!
I really like the pear tree though it will take a bit to see fruit.
So fun to see the plants grow from tiny to HUGE!
Our zucchini, cukes and tomatos are all taking off too. Flowers and herbs look good too! I think its going to be a great year!!!

You are really rocking it for a first year attempt!!!

Awesomeness!!! :cool::thumbs-up:😁
