Hey guys, I have an opportunity to buy this Losi, but I dont know exactly what model it is. By the pictures it looks like it is a few years old.

Looks like a rustler to me...

*EDIT* here compare http://www.rc-monster-trucks.com/nitro-rustler.jpg to me i think its a rustler .... the TRX easy start, how the rear shock tower is a single stub body clip mount, just looks like they flipped the exhaust back to keep the exhaust oil off the tires. Only thing about that is i did that to my jato and it just added the weight to the rear so i end up back flipping even when I'm not on the gas.

Dang!

She said it was a Losi, and has it labeled as one.

How long have they been making rustler's for?

the servo on the one I posted isnt like the "T" shaped servo on the picture you provided. Were older traxxas servo's like the one I posted?

*edit* If you look at the second picture, there is a small traxxas ez start, and you can make out that on the label, so you sir may be right!

The body that says losi, you can tell that wasn't for this truck. On te rear posts for that body there are 2 holes so that means it was for a different truck. But sometimes the people selling them arent original owners and they just sell em and put info they thought they heard.

They have been making rustlers basically since the beginning of traxxas.. this is one of the first ones i believe because it does look like its been around. Id say maybe this truck could be pretty old. I've never owned a rustler but my cousin did, he had a 2.5 and it was pretty fast.

*EDIT* looked on google and saw this on wiki " Traxxas first introduced the Nitro Rustler in 1997. It is a 1/10 scale 2WD stadium truck. Although they shared the same name, the Rustler and Nitro Rustler shared few parts (many parts were similar though). It was powered by Traxxas' Pro.15 nitro engine. "
