I enjoy building... a T-Maxx just kicks (_|_)

It's a great engine to start with. I've only modded the chassis and suspension or steering components aside from the heat sink/cylinder head. Lots of parts are available for it.

I paid low $0.3k for it.

Try the Gs Storm or maybe the XTM one or even the OFNA Hyper 7 or MBX.

Smurfola212, I think I've asked this before. Does a track near you race 1/8 scale buggies? If not, they are not a lot of fun honestly. If you have a local 1/8 buggy track, go for it. If not, it's gonna see a lot of shelf time because they are not that fun off the track.

I like my Lightning Pro -- tough as hell and cheap. If you got the green, get the top of the line kyosho inferno or that mugen mbx5. Those are some bad ass buggies.

Also, before you go and buy a buggy make SURE that your Local Hobby Shop carries parts for the buggy you buy. If they don't it will take you a long time to get parts and you could be not driving you new buggy for a long time.
