Well since I solm my T Maxx I purchased the Savage 25 RTR. I ran the traxxa 20%nitro in the max. And I can get Donnelsons 20%nitro at my local hobby store. Is it any good. If not what does everyone reccomend?

My bad. You were right on the Duratrax. After looking on the web I found:

POWER MASTER Makes:
.Power Master
.TRAXXAS Top Fuel

WILDCAT makes
.Wildcat
.Cox
.HPI
.Monster Fuel
.Hobby Town

O'donnel makes
.O'donnel

Morgan Fuel makes
.Red Alert
.Blue Thunder
.Omega

O'donnel sell their fuel to Duratrax who then puts their name on it also.

i like Obyrons 20% the best out of the brands I've tried which are

Blue Thunder
Tower
O'Donnel

I've been running 20% blue thunder..............never let me down..........but, of all the fuels I've tried, I can't really say anything bad about any of them. All depends on what you have close to home............unless you are a racer, I'd stick to 20% for bashing.....enjoy.....

Odonell 20% is probablly one of the best performing fuel,or try any Trinity fuels.

How about what fuel does your local hobby shop have on the shelves, followed by how much and how badly do you want to shop on the internet or fuel?

I ask these questions because it might cost you a small fortune to follow the advice of the forum if you have to purchase your fuel online. If your hobby shop carries a particular brand, you might want to look it up and see if there is any negative press related to it.

I use Blue Thunder, one because I can get it cheaply and in large quantities from my LHS and two because I have never needed to change from it. Blue Thunder works just fine in my mills. I run RB Concept engines in my buggies, and before that I ran Ofna Hyper .21 8 port engines in my MTs. Blue Thunder ran just fine through them.

Just note that the truck is not what consumes the fuel. The engine does. If you have a high end engine, there might be some manufacturer recommended fuels to run in the engine. There might also be some manufacturer recommendations about what fuel NOT to run. Most stock engines do fairly well with most fuels. Which takes you back to looking into what you can get in a ready supply.

Odonnells's for me. My engine ran better with it seems like.

my t-maxx = O'donnell 20%
my Xterminator = O'donnell 20%
my Warhead when it comes this month??? = only O'donnell 20%!!!!
:boxing: :spit: :boxing:

i have had a very reputable Engine modifier tell me that Maxy's, O'donnell, Byrons are the best.he said that with other fuels they dont seem to be as in as good of shape on the inside. all i know is i have never had anything run as well as O'donnell.
