KillerRC makes killswitches and failsafes for nitro and gassers.
I looked at those. Are they worth the price? How's the extra features like the temperature sensors and data it gives you? I'm assuming you own a killerRC kill switch.

Well technically I did once. Thats why I'm aware of their existence. I won it in a contest online but I never got around to using it. I ended up taking a long break from the hobby and sold a bunch of my stuff because I was starting to think I was never going to get back in to it. Turns out I did a year or so later and then regretting selling most of my stuff lol.

Sorry man, wish I had the answer for ya

Would the truck be able to use this 2 stroke oil? I'm wondering because it's all purpose but I'm not sure if all 2 stroke oil is just essentially 2 stroke oil and nothing more meaning it would be able to be used in anything that is 2 stroke. Thanks for the help guys!

Most die hard gear heads will use the best 2 stroke oil like Amsoil or another synthetic oil brand!

I've always used the cheap brands ,as I was a gardener for years an some of the equipment
that I've used lasted 10 to 20 years on cheap oil an ethanal gas ,but I always maintain the
equipment an would clean certain areas like the exhaust port from any carbon build up an
I ran my equipment at least 5 days a week all day long at full throttle ,but with commercial
equipment that was ran 24/7 like that ,it did not make sense to buy a high quality oil & gas!

However ,people dont run RC that much ,so therefore the engine would probably need a more
quality oil & gas for more protection of corrosion ,or run the tank dry when you store it!

Now in my 5th scales ,I use the cheap stuff because I know how to maintain engines that
run the lower grade ,an I know how to store the engines after they ran the cheaper brands!

You will find this manner controversial ,in which the higher quality stuff is better that people
point out ,but also in my opinion ,it is not needed as long as you maintain engine as needed
on what ever product that you may use!..:thumbs-up::cool:

You can take a look at some vids of test that peoples done to compare!

Does anyone happen to know what the fuel mix ratio is for these types of engines? It's a 30.5cc rovan 2 stroke engine.
I'm back in Montana and I'm hoping to give a shakedown today.

I use a Rovan mixing bottle, gas on one side, 2 cycle oil on the other. Match up the amount and then mix together. Very simple and quick.

Awesome thanks for the advice guys!
I noticed on rovan's website that the 30.5cc engine has a 25/1 ratio recommendation. Is that to high? That's like 5.2 ounces a gallon. Is that too much? Or is it a good mix? Sorry just trying to understand these engines. Thanks for the help guys!

Might need to look into getting one of those.

Now I need a new steering servo... Any recommendations? Not looking to spend a bunch. Probably looking at something that gets the job done but nothing fancy.
