What brand engine is it.

From what I could gather in a few searches the "IC" stands, of course for "Internal Combustion"

Also- it looks as if this type/size of engine is either used for Marine uses (boats, scale models of jet skis or other maritime vessels) or the numbers could indicate the CC size.

When I looked on Ebay for "IC 3.5" I in fact DID get several hits on Picco and Ofna products- but I really have no idea why that might be. I have owned around 10-15 different types and brands of nitro powered engines, ranging from O.S to Novarossi and I have never come across the particular case that you have. Try asking the seller exactly what kind of engine it is- unless it is some guy in Hong Kong with a store full of Smartech stuff... in that case it is probably from a lesser known manufacturer.

Let us know how it runs in the future and if you learn any more information about it?

Sorry for wasting your time.

The link to the manual was an error. The engine is actually a OFNA 25 which is a Force 3.5. Thanks for the help anyway.:surrender
