what are you saving for?

Well i've been putting money aside from all the lil side jobs that I’m doing to save for some stuff. I figured it would be a good thread to start to see what every body is saving for or hoping/planning to get...

here is the list of stuff I’ve been putting money aside for:

R/C stuff:

Traxxas 1/16 e-revo vxl
Losi 1/10 Strike short course truck RTR
Losi 1/10 Speed-NT RTR
Losi 8ight-T2.0 RTR
BL set up for my boat

None R/C stuff:

I’m saving some money for when I get my license in a year and 8 months I can get a car…I’m not a Chevy guy but I’m going to pick up a brand new Chevy Malibu they sell at the dealer here for are 20k fully loaded if paying cash(22k if not)…so if I can save 5-6k before I get my license I’ll be good cause I can use 5-6k as a down payment then do payments for the rest..

And NOBODY start with me about getting a new car at 16....i've made my deicsion leave me alone about it

Any way that is what I’m saving for what are you guys saving for?

I don't really save for anything. If I want something and we have the cash I'll just buy it. However, the only thing on my list these days IS something I should save for because it's quite pricey. I could get a used one for significantly less but I'd kind of prefer not to buy a used race car. Anyways, I've mentioned it like a million times before but I still want a 1:4 scale stock car. Fully outfitted I'm looking at 2 G's.

I'm kinda saving for a new rc of some sort aswell but i might be smart instead and go get some dental work done I've needed for a while....also need a cover up on my left forearm i might do that too.

1/4 scale stock cars are awsome...they used to race them between heat races at oru local dirt track(1:1) before they closed..i wish they weren't so expensive or i would have one...

BTW i forgot to mention in my origanal post i plan to have all the r/c stuff by the end of next summer...like going into the fall/winter time...then i can get them all broken in and ready to go in my heated garage and be ready for the 2011 race season..thats my plan anyway...

I've been putting some thought into building a nice offroad course for rc's.. There is nothing closer than an hour and a half from me..
I just don't know if there is enough interest...
I want a losi 8ight 2.0, and baja truck but no need if I can't race them..

Been looking for a seven string jem for awhile but don't really have a use for it. I have a room full of amps,heads, cabs,guitars, and effects that I don't use now.. When you have 3 kids the late nights at tha club playing don't work out..

Me too. But i am also saving for a 5T and a JEEP. I have always wanted one so the wife and i (after we get out of debt) are going to save for these things

not sure what i am saving for. I have determined that there is a linear relationship between my wife's mood and the amount of cash in savings. Thats a good enough reason for me.
