Eddy,
I am too tired to quote you and find the specific part I was referring to but what drives potential customers away, or at least older people who remember better times, is the new automated voice activated phone menus. Some of them are lucky enough to have a fail safe that if you simply say "OPERATOR" it will connect you to the operator, though most menus do not state this as an option. For the record, I have gotten into the habit of saying Operator as soonas I realize that I have encountered a voice option answering service.

I do happen to agree with Sky on the fact that banning members, or the gestapo like tactics that some of the Hitler Youth of the traxxas boards use is not a very member friendly way to do business, especially in the terms of friendly word of mouth product endorsement.

I mean even in the terms of the two kids who were saying that Sky correcting them was wrong and how mean he was don't have a freaking clue how lucky they were for not being on another board that views SPAM differently. I understand that people have to learn netiquette and in a non-newbie friendly board they could have had the harsh reality of being banned for a first infraction. I wish the Traxxas was a little less banning or deleting friendly and more correcting. Just as I said about bad advertisement for being non-user friendly, explaining the infraction and then closing the thread shows members where they were wrong for minor infractions rather than deleting the entire threads and the non-observement users don't have a clue that some kid posted the same thread in 5 different forums. I'll quit rambling now. Peace be thy journey.

since we have Traxxas Support here I can think of something more construcive. Here's one guys input. I need a Traxxas .21 man. I need it to bad ass just like the 2.5 all ported and poop, but with a better head(we will talk because I like the tapered head idea but we need CNC'ed alum and not cast.) I need it to just a little bigger than the T-Maxx. Hmmm let's call it the BlazerMaxx yeah thats's a great name. Ok were talking no reverse here, make it an add on option ooh it will sell but that part is negotiable. We got to think big here on the steering because it's got to have bigger tires. Alright this part I will not budge on, we need universals or CVS's stock baby and that's that. Can we say aluminu, shocks...ooh no he didn't.

I'd pay like $500 for one of those. It will keep us on top just think. I got more idea's just wait. Can we say 1/8 buggy. I have some cad designs you should look at.

How bout a Savage Like that? Your maxx sounds good except you need all metal gears and a thicker chassis. Metal chassis braces, Stock MIP cvd's, 90oz of torque steeringservo w/servo saver, Titan wheels, extended wheelbase, 1/8 buggy shock conversion, and finally Futaba's new 3pk radio system.
Itll go for about $8/900
:bling:Bling!

Hello Traxxas support! Did you get tired of playing with us? You never even stayed around long enough to actually help anyone. We got through all the venting BS (bad stuff) so please come back and play with us?

It does seem like it's been a while since he was here. Guess he let us know he was a member and tried not to be hit by the door while he was leaving.

Ok I know some of you are going to think I'm being an ass responding to this, some are going to claim I'm calling a "truce", others won't care what I say, and maybe even a few will see my point.

How ever there are members here who can not let things be, and from the way I see it make themselves look ridiculous. I find it amazing how you guys go off about Traxxas Support not coming here, or posting here. When in fact the only place your getting this information is out of your ass. If you REALLY knew the truth about when Traxxas Support has been here or even the last time he/she has posted you'd know that your claims are false, and my claim of you pulling stuff outta your ass is corrrect.

In fact here's a very quick run down for Traxxas Support:

Last Visit: 07/28/2003 @ 10:00
Last Post: 07/25/2003 @ 17:11

What does the above mean, well putting it simply it means that it's only been a matter of days since he/she has posted here or even visited here. Traxxas Support might not be here posting or even visiting every single day, but none the less he/she is still here.

I think it's time for many of you to act like the adults many of you are and get over it, if you REALLY want to call out a member for not posting start with the other members that have registered here and have yet to post, or even all the guests that visit and have yet to register. There are 1400+ members here, Traxxas Support visits here and posts here, more then I can say for some members here who have yet to post and have been registered for twice as long as Traxxas Support.

I wasn't calling out a member I was calling upon a member for help period. I did never partipate in the bashing of the person, I simply stated my opinion on the whole web board issues and left it be. THEN othe people started going off, so in my humorus way however you classify it I tried to lighten up the thread by posting my plans for their next MT. I like them being hear and I agree it is childish to keep some kind of "battle going on". I havent been on the Traxxas site in months because I spend my time here. The one fricking thing that I admit I am guilty of is not using the search to see when the last time he/she as you so pc put it was here. I think the whole keep who it is a mystery thing is fine, but when I was curious who it was every one was so qucik to jump on me when it was tottally inocent. I have noticed my written expression skills leave much to be desired because SO many people assume that I am mad/angry/pissed/trying to start poop when I am feeling a whole different way when I am writing the message. So yes I need to use the site functions more like search and I need to take a lit class so I can learn the skill of written emotions and how to invoke them correctly from my writings.

Preach on brother, preach on...all to often people do the same with me. Maybe you and I should join a lit class together, what days are good for you?

Still here. Thanks Woodie! I do stop by on occasion but I am kept pretty busy on our own boards so I really don't spend a lot of time on any other board. I do get e-mail when somebody replies here since it seems that I managed to subscribe to the thread. Humboldt, We have your truck in production even as we speak. It should be shipping directly to you within the week!
El Pirata, you would be amazed by the size of some of these bruises that I get from being hit by doors as I leave!

UH OH :OMG:

I love you Traxxas Support! I hope you don't take me as knocking you, I was just trying to lighten up the thread some. When you guys/gals run your Tmaxxes @ Traxxas do you have fuel tank problems, specifically cracking? I have cracked a lot of fuel tanks but I use your product in extreme conditions so I understand this is my fault (not looking for any warranty help here) I was just wondering if you guys came up with something as you know the Tmaxx better than anyone else does. Sorry if I was a jackass to you as that was not my intention.

Of course I run into tank cracking. Strangely enough I usually find that my engine mount and shock tower fail at the same time. The only answer for that is get a roll cage or be a Sunday driver. The problem was worse when we had the primer shaft on the tank. It would bend as soon as the truck landed on it and you would have an air leak. The main problem I have found is that the bodies aren't tough enough to withstand all the inverted sled action for long.
