Anyone here use waterslide decals before on a body? I imagine it wouldn't end up well if you flipped over because they'd peel off real easily.

I've been known to print my own in reverse on clear decal paper. Then I can put them on the inside of the body and paint as usual.

Hey Rolex, how does that work? Do you need a special printer (paper obviously) or program or anything?

I use photo paper in my inkjet printer and then use XXX-Main glue to glue the image inside the shell and this is the result:

Testor's decal paper. Either in white or clear.
The one's below were all created and scaled in PhotoShop. These went on a Humm Vee but I've done color also. I would take the thumb drive to Office Max to have them printed on a laser printer but now I have my own.
When you get the Testor's decal kit, it will come with a small can of 'Fixative' spray, otherwise an inkjet decal will wash off in water.

Once dry, you paint as normal over it. It glues the image in from the back side. The glue actually goes over the colored portion the image.
