I was cleaning my truck and accidently got water in my engine, what should I or should I NOT do?

:opps: I have run the truck, but I sounds a little funny and seems under powered. :ponder2:

If it's an electric motor put a couple of drops of oil on each bearing (this is the electric forum). If it's nitro, disassemble the engine dry and lube all parts including the air filter put a new plug. Make shore you seal the engine good when you put it back together and it should be ready to go.

Rust and corrosion would be my first concerns. I've seen folks, and I've tried it myself, but you can submerge an electric motor (RC type) in a glass of water and run it. It cleans the brushes, armature, comm, etc. I don't know how well this method works, but the glass of water had tons of crap in it when I was done.
