About the sponsors being afraid to be here, I am with woodie on this one.
If you are an honest company, and not trying to rip anyone off, you will have no fear of sponsoring this site. This is a perfect example
thread here of the entire community backing a sponsor, not because of his product, but because of his reputation for keeping his customers satisfied. I don't think Scott has any fear, nor any regrets for being a sponsor and a part of this community.
If you're afraid to sponsor this forum because it might cause you bad press, well then your posts and attitude is clear. If you treat your customers with the same attitude and persona you've used in this thread, you're right to be afraid. If you're a shady business man it's only a matter of time before someone gets burned. This community has no tolerance for shady business practices.
I also noticed that your generic user name "Wardo" Also means you are afraid of connecting your RCNT persona/user name with your business. Hiding your identity only solidifies my opinion. You do not want your user name/personal feelings on this site made public for your customers becuase no one gives their money to a person with an attitude such as you displayed here.
The reason the thread in question was allowed to go on as long as it did I am assuming was a lesson. A lesson for crooked/shady vendors they are not welcome here, and we will not censor our members feelings for fear of loosing advertising dollars. This also soldifies Woodies statement, that he's not in it for the money. He's in it for the community, and he won't bend his ideals nor sacrifice the member's freedom to speak for fear of loosing advertising dollars.
The vendors that do sponsor this site cetainly have their ducks in a row, when parts are needed and trust is a concern, the sponsors of this site is where I spend my HARD EARNED money.
Attitude is everything, and yours bites. By the way Wardo have you just been away from the computer, or are you starting to realize that no one here is concerned with where there contributions go, and your point is moot.
As long as the site remains open our contributions will continue, if it happens to make Woodie Big fat happy and rich, well he deserved it. 4124 users? That's .58 cents a user helluva a profit eh? Phhhft $2400 a month wouldn't pay my bills for home, let alone a server and not to mention hours spent on it.
