As far as what Woodie was screaming!?! his demeanor was a far cry from what is on the forum. BTW, he wore his RCNT hoodie sweatshirt with pride too! We gotta get together again.

Hey Woodie, find a place there in Kentucky, I'll be making my way down there in the spring! You can look for a place to bash too. I'll be in Louisville. Lexington isn't that far away ... Road trip anyone? It's only 11 hours by my clock to get there.

I was laughing from the start, even before we made it to the club! Didn't know the evenings events included a tour of your girls old neighborhood, Woodie.

I think the best line I heard from Woodie that night was (not an exact quote but accurate from what I can remember) "I didn't come all this way to see an empty stage, I'm getting my money back."

Skyline, there are clubs here where 18 is the minimum BUT those are places where there is no alcohol served. Cafe Royale serves alcohol so you gotta be 21.

Threads like this are something that people with no knowledge of business will never understand. Its about the power of community. People flock to places they feel comfortable. They hang out and communicate with people they feel comfortable with. There are literally tens of thousands of communities on the Internet but for some reason we all choose this little slice of the Internet. This thread has brought us together and shows what kind of camaraderie this forum has. Just think of the potential business opportunities there are with such a tight knit group of hobbyists.

Any smart business person will realize that by contributing / investing into the community they will get back much more in return. Companies like Ramtec HCR and RC-Solutions understand this and will benefit from it. People like Wardo will never get the real benefit of community because they lack the understanding of how people think.

We can ask our community to contribute as much or as little as we see fit. They can contribute or not. Advertiser can do the same. Its are community and we will govern it as we see fit. If advertisers don't like what we have to offer we understand. If an organization wants to tap into our membership thats great and they will benefit from it.

So Wardo,
If you don't want to advertise here, great go find somewhere that will take your money and keep you sheltered from any negative comments that may arise. We are a community that only wants well meaning members and advertisers. You will need to find another place to hang your hat. Don't come here and tell us you wont advertise here, We would never let you.
