Front anti roll bar polished up and new pivot balls and collars.

I had a very productive, uninterrupted day working on this project. Although, I didn't take many photos of my progress. Only the end result.

Front completed, minus the shocks.

I've fitted a few standard black screws where I'm lacking ti screws but they have been ordered.

I'm also waiting for the new pillowball cups and a new servo saver spring adjustment nut, as the old one is damaged. I've ordered a MBX8 nut as it's both lockable and was available. I'm just hoping it fits.

I don't know what I'd do it to at the moment. I wouldn't mind grabbing an older Associated T4 to restore, pending parts availability. Maybe after I get the newish PC built, which should be together in a couple days. But as soon as I have more funds available there are another $850 worth of upgrades I want to do to it because the video card, PSU, and M.2 drives going in it aren't that great. But I also really want to try and grab a 3d printer I've been eyeballing for a couple months. I guess next year might be best. For now, I'll just drool over this refresh.

I have 3 old 3d printers. They all use a 12v DC system to heat things up, which takes forever to heatup the bed, especially on my 500mm³ printbed. The newer printers run off of mains voltage, so 110v here. The beds heat up almost instantly.

Also, my printers won't print much faster than 50mm/second without prints looking like crap (depending on design). The newer machines can print at a whopping 500mm/second.

@Warby .. don't forget with those new pillow ball cups (my top tip) use a pencil and color them in, the graphite works really well as a lubricant..!! true story I color in all my ball cups

The rear lower aluminium block arrived just now and I fitted it straight away.

They are a lot cleaner and in better condition compared to the rears.

Oil was cleaner too

Thanks for the tip, but I have actual graphite powder on hand. I have it for lubricating locks.
