Never seen a Mugen vehicle with a plastic a, b, c, d block in my life.. I’d have to remedy that for sure.
If I can find one. I'll have another look later, but sellers put a aluminium tax$$ on those too 🙄.
Plastic is the original part. Comes on a parts tree.

$90 for that aluminium block.

I'm back. It's been a hell of a week, but that's not for this thread.

Since my last post, I ordered some more parts and some have arrived.

I did order that rear/rear aluminium block to replace the composite block, as discussed above, despite the price tag. It should arrive any day now.

I found a MBX7 motor mount, somewhat locally at a reasonable price. Added some other bits to the order too.

It has arrived and I'm glad I got the MBX7 mount as its a beautiful piece. Its a different design to the MBX6 mount. Its strong and takes M4 adjustment screws rather than M3 like the MBX6. Glad I purchased it.

I purchased some self adhesive foam for the battery tray.

RJX Hobby Kevlar Stitched, Non-Slip Silicone Battery Straps 2x (20mm x 300mm) and 2x (20mm x 350mm). The 300mm were perfect fit.
Great quality straps 👌

Decided to get the rear shocks ready.

I have news seals, upper caps, lower caps, springs, boots, upper bushes and upper pivot mounts.
1000037176.webp

As you can see the shocks were filthy, yet still optional.

The rods are straight but slightly worn. Good enough for a basher though. Bladders not leaking and cleaning up well. The bodies have definitely seen some track time but still usable.

Oil was diirrty. No doubt a result of missing/broken boots.

Front arms are in great condition and had no play on the pins. Good to reuse.

1000037356.webp

Pillowballs and nuts also in great condition, but the cups are really rough. I've ordered some new cups from T-Works.
1000037355.webp

I got a new front CF tower as the old one was worn and delaminating.
