I run a hobby wing ez run system with a 3000kv motor. 8 cell 4200 tenergy for now. How forgiving are these trannys with a tight slipper clutch. I'm currently running 15/87 gears with some duratrax nitro mt tires on it . It flys pretty good and my temps are well within safe operating range. Just wondering if I could crank the slipper down to get some more wheelies outta her. It has the old style slipper clutch on it. Thanks a lot.

I wouldn't go full tight as that will put extra stress on the trans. If you are running loose tighten her all the way up then back it off a minimum of 1/4 turn. Don't go any less!

That's what I was thinking. Especially since the damn tranns has a plastic outer diff gear. I used to break counter gears. Next one in line is the plastic diff! Thanks Addict. Hope the weekends treatin' ya well.

It sucks actually. Just got sniped on WoodiE's Axial AX-10 auction. I really wanted that thing. Got out-bid by $5.00 in the last two seconds. SNIPERS SUCK!!!

But thanks for asking! Have a good day, buddy!
