VRP style shocks for oval racing?

Wondering if these rebound adjustable shocks would benefit oval racing? I know they are well liked by off-road racers but I don't understand the physics enough to know if they would benefit an oval track?

well of course you need to, i am asking for more information of what these do and if it would be worth applying them to an oval car. their website is very outdated and doesn't have a very good explanation of how their product works. i know some guys at my offroad track swear by them.

If your local guys are running them then I'd ask them directly. They may not give their setup away but they certainly should be able to give you some pointers.

'Rebound' tuning is an extremely fine tuning point. And I wouldn't recommend investing in specific socks until you fully understand springs rates, piston sizing, and oil weights.

Of course, there is always going to be variables. It would seem, to me, they would have some little benefit for the amount of time the piston is traveling through the shock bodies compared to rigorous off-road suspension's setups. If the fast dudes all swear by them and you are a clean racer, by all means, go for it. Just don't expect them to be miracle makers.

most of the cars use associated components
