Can I use this in my Thunder tiger raptor 30? It's VP's 20/20 nitro fuel for airplanes and helis. I talked to a guy and he said I shouldn't use it, however it seems like a waste so I want to confirm. IT IS THE 20/20. He said that it was for 4 stroke engines, but as I said I want to confirm. Thanks.

I pulled this off the web..

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION YS/Saito 20/20 was developed by VP Racing Fuels for high performance YS and Saito 4 Stroke engines. The only fuel endorsed by both YS and Saito engine manufacturers. A versatile blend for high performance 4-stroke sport flying and can be used in two stroke and helicopter applications.

I wonder if the 5:1 oil ratio is bad for my engine....

Honestly when it comes to fuel for airplanes and heli's I haven't a clue. Mine are all electric and I only use surface nitro fuel..

A quick search on your raptor 30 and fuel used, I see people recommending 15-30% nitro heli fuel. When I look up 20% heli fuel, the first on the search is cool power 20% which is 20/20 like the stuff your wanting to use.

What did the guy at the LHS suggest you use instead?

I know heli's/planes run higher oil, likely because they spend a lot more time at high rpm's. Never had either myself. I run byrons 25% nitro 11% oil. Well, I used to, but they closed up shop.

He didn't tell me what else I should use. I dropped of my heli so he could set it up and said he would test it for me.
