Hi,

I have a Vone RR and want to put in a OS CV-RX Standard shaft. I was wondering if it was possible to use a pilot shaft (clutch nut) so I can still use the 3d Clutch. The clutch that comes with the Vone RR says it needs an engine with an SG type crankshaft. I found a pilot shaft at tower hobbies for the VoneR but I don't know if it would fit.

Thanks.

from what I've been told, the CV-RX wont fit int he V1RR as its a pull start and a side exaust. The V1RR accepts only rear exhaust non pull start engines. Such as the OS .12TR

I have been checking up some bits of information and it looks like the vonerr can take a side exhaust. In the manual it has a diagram for the engine and it's a side exhaust one.

Now i was checking the parts in the pilot shaft versions of the 12 CV-R and the 15 CV-R and the crankshaft and the cover plate are the same. So i'm guessing that i can get a 12CV-R and swap the parts over needed to convert the 15CV-RX i have to the pilot version and the 12CV-R to the standard shaft pull start version.

This would be a cheaper option then getting the 12 TR. Possibly the 15 CV-R would still produce some good results in power. I'm not looking to race it or anything.
