Ok, I was asked if I could build a vise style work stand.
So, here it is, the pole a base is from my stand, so you don't see the new tilt mechanism. I will get to that probably tomorrow. I just thought everyone would like to take a peek at the vise.
The only problem I have come across is over tightening it on the truck, I almost bent the chassis supports! This thing is rugged and mean looking. the T handle is also fully fabricated.

I use a moded PendaVise. It moves in all directions.
Yours looks much better:D Keep up the good work.

Great looking stand, one question though....

Just curious, why hold the truck by the chassis braces? seems like holding it by the chassis itself would be better, just my thought

Mine holds by the chassis. I tried to hold it by the braces one time and they cracked.
Did you tighten too much? The rubber on your vise looks hard, I don't have to crank down tight at all to get it to hold even upside down. Try to get some soft neoprene, you won't have to crank down as hard.;)

Don't worry, I would give you the prototype, not refined enough.
Just tell me the opening you need and it shall be done!

Nice looking work. What is the material used to make the vise frame and jaws? That is a great looking stand. Eddy's looks functional but not nearly as sexy as your vice stand. What's the cost to manufacture? What's the buy pricetag?

Actually, mine is a bit flimsy when you get a 12 lb truck mounted on it.
One thing I would like to see on M@xs is a pivot head. It nice to be able to work on the truck at an angle.

I want one when you’re done.:D

Maxximillion, when you do start selling them, remember all the little people who supported you on your way to the #1 T-Maxx stand manufacturer in the country :D Do RC Nitro Talk members get a discount, lol? ;)

Pivot bracket should be done in a couple days;) I am just short on time right now, working on that other special project;)

NCNitro, these will only be available to RCNT members.

Sky, I'm working on that, but I promiss it will be fair.

Matts, El, thanks for the compliment.
