I've owned everthing up to an AE T3, and many other brands too (I like to buy thrashed ones off eBay and ressurect them) and have sold them all but still own and run these original 10T's.

Note the chassis braces going from the bulkead to the front of the pan, this addressed the 10T's Achillies heel, axial chassis flex. These chassis are solid as a rock and a different animal. These are worlds' chassis with MIP CVD's, Lunsford titanium throughout, graphite tranny braces, Futaba 9402 (??) (110 oz/in .09 sec) servos, and Tekin G-420 and 412 ESC's, other than that, stock. Stripped and all white plastic dyed black on both. :D

robmob- nice link. Brings back memories. Anyone remember "Hot Trick" or the "Ascot" RC10 sprint car conversions?....Anyway, here's some of my oldies:
man ! Thoses are some nice pictures!

Thanx Shadey- I used to race the spriint car at a local oval track in Houston in the late 80's...we had "Outlaw Night"...7cells and run-what-you-brung...I wish that would come back in style.

Absolutely russ. It would be nice to have Anything! here local where you could just run what you have. Just a fun bash night, and maybe an unlimited race for fun.

It's difficult. You;ve got the hardcores who have to have structured races, and the ones who just want to have fun avoid those. A nice open practice place in town would a blast here.

You guys remind me when I had my First RC10 and used a Proline MT conversion truck kit. I t was cheesy but hell it was awesome back then . I like Nitro too much to go back to an electric unless it would be a RC18T. I am currently trying to sell my old RC10 if anyone is interested since so many here are reminiscing in the good ole days.

Russ ...Man those things look awesome. I still want to get an old LunchBox but those kits are really expensive now.!!Great pics though

Jon

Crazy man....i guess my cars pretty old i got a RC10 buggy but how old where they exactly. I dont rember because i guess I'm not as old as you guys.

i have 2 vintage buggys 1 jrx2 losi buggy and a ultima 2 buggy i like to trade them both or separat if the deal is good i can put a new motor on and a radio and servo i have pics just pm me or e-mail me at [email protected] curtis

I have a Radio Shack Golden Arrow, Tamiya Hornet (not a rerelease either) and jon2's old RC10 ;)

Ah the good ole simplistic Grasshopper

My first R/C was the Hornet,I had a Kyosho LeMans 240S in it with a 8.4V pack back in the good ole days.Futaba radio, later removed the garbage mechanic speed control and installed a Tekin electronic ESC.

Tamiya is comming out with the Hornet(reissue),I am getting it.Will probably make a primitive rocket out of it with a 10 turn modified. :boxing:

I just posted up my vintage hornet FT, why get a reissue, get the original!

I started w/ the Falcon cause it was NEW.....then I found LOSI and just stuck w/ theme for years......I found my Falcon just before I got into this hobby again in a box underneath a pile of heavy boxes and it was so crushed I just threw it away......I wanted to have some sort of funeral service for it I felt so bad...but then I found My LOSI JRXT pro thing (it's got so many mismatched parts but it still works) and my RC10L pan cars......I felt better that those were still intact.....
