Very bad news guys

I am in the hospital in bed with a broken left femur. I got hit from the side while i was running the ball in my football game i had at 7pm yesterday.

I just had surgery today and it went well.They put some type of rod in the bone.

I play for the Homeschool Saints football team and this is the teams first year. We are the first Homeschool team in New Orleans and the third in the state of Louisiana.

Your thoughts and prayers are very appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear that man. Nothing to date for me has been worse than the feeling of broken bone ends rubbing together. I hope someone got a traction splint on you quickly, and they are taking care of your discomfort. I have a rod in my left leg also, (though in the tibia) which is comforting to know that I won't break it again. Hopefully they won't keep you in a cast for too long and you can get back up and walking again. Until then, I hope you at least have some pretty nurses.
