I want to buy a artr kit. Would the ax10 axial or the venom crawler kit be better. I plan on running 55 turn motor with rooster speed control and to start a traxxas 3 channel radio but eventually a specktrum. I guess what i'm asking is what kit is better. If any one wants to get rid of their crawler i'm willing to look at it.

they are both gonna be comparable stock bro, its really a question of what appeals to your taste more...BUT the axial is better for one simple fact, after market support, the replacement parts and upgrades for the axial are everywhere you look wich puts it at the top of the two.

I have to agree with the Green. There are tons of parts for the Axial. Since the Venom is a newer ride the aftermarket hop-up just really have not been made for it yet. In six months I would say they might be there but for now.....Axial. That is unless you don't wanna upgrade anything or think you will break anything. Look them both over real well and make a list of likes and dislikes....see which ones come up on top.

Local hobby shop sucks so i can't look at one close up- i can only read the specs and pics

Not because I own a Axial AX10 based crawler, but because I have seen a stock AX10 ARTR and A stock venom crawling at a comp and the AX10 IMO just seems more stable then the Venom, and then there is every thing that slowngreen said too, LOL!!!! is why I would choose the AX10 ARTR over the Venom..
