I finished the car up, adding the weight with the alloy, heavy front bumper. I did get to test the car last weekend, and it was extremely fast, but had to be very careful with the throttle. I can imagine on a hot day this thing will rip.

This car has been sitting all season, just haven't had time to run it. That's gonna change though, I'm bringing it to our last cash day event! However, after some thought, I'm relegating the Vega body to shelf queen status, since you can no longer get those bodies unfortunately. I decided to change to a Cuda instead.

I spent some time re-stancing it too, and I really like how it's sitting now. I've come up with a theme, so once the decals arrive, I'll begin the paint job. Not sure which blue I'm going with yet.

I had a revival around the same time you did.
My Jato sits complete with no place to run a 70mph nitro with no steering. Maybe I need a Vega body too!
I just bought a trans for my Revo.
I plan to repair and run it. Maybe a Forward Only Trans and some weight cutting to make it faster too.

The Cuda with the old school graphics brings me bck to Don Garlits (I think it was called the "golden alley"?) Full of old classic and iconic draag cars from history. Was at Bakerfield Winternationals prob 15 yrs ago.
I could have spent all day looking at those beautiful cars... Watch the race tomorrow!

Yeah me too, that's the conundrum...but..It might come down to which color I have in stock in my paint lair...I keep forgetting to check.
