Has anyone ever had a problem with vapor lock? I'm sure most all of you have heard of Vapor Lock, but for those of you who haven't heard of vapor lock it is when the heat from your engine causes the fuel in the tubing to turn to vapor and causes your engine to stall out. Hopefully that is a good explanation, but my question is how to do you prevent the fuel from vaporizing in the tubing? The reason I ask is because my little brother owns a Kyosho Ultima ST and I think that this is the reason why his engine keeps stalling. So if anyone knows a way to prevent vapor lock it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I think that I have found a remedy to the problem but I have yet to see if it works. My dad gave me some wire protector that is supposed to protect up to 1200degrees, but I have yet to test it.

Check your fuel line for any small holes or any spot that it could be scking air and f you have a fuel filter check the hose around that. Also if you have a primer the o-ring around it gets worn out and starts letting in air

It could also be that your running WAY too hot. What are the engine temps when this happens. No matter what mill you have you really dont want it going over 250F.

Another thing to look at would be the routing of the fuel line. I make an effort to stay as clear of the engine block and exhaust as possible. If I must get close, I like to slide a slightly larger peice of tubbing over the fuel line to shield the fuel line from direct heat. The T-Maxx fuel line sleeves are made for this purpose.
