I love building kits and wanted to buy new one to wrench. I'm interested in the Vanquish VS4-10. Does anyone have advice on whether to get the straight axle kit or the portal axle?

Portal vs straight is mostly a personal choice... what do you want to do with it?... comp crawling or trail truck ? can't go wrong with either kit.... but they're going to get hard to find soon... I heard Vanquish isn't producing the Phoenix kits any more, I grabbed one up on Amains black Friday special just to have on hand later this winter. If you want a comp crawler you could try out their new VRD Carbon kit (portals)... seeing good reviews on it
