Mudslinger you gotta get those pinnions man I am dying to see this thing running.. so you are wanting to run those 22t to get more high speed correct? because wouldn't a 14 t make more torque because its a lower gearing? I just got a bit confused because you said the 14t would be too high of a gear for you because that would provide more torque than a 22t but less top end. I know when you say gear up it means go up in ratio so it really mean more torque so its kind of backwards with when its said in account to the actual numbers the gearing would be, as the higher the gear ration the less top speed.

Do they make a conversion kit to mount Mamba monsters in there? Lets skip right past ludacris speed and go to straight to plaid!! lol
I could have used my kershaw motor mount , that would have fit twin mambas. :p:

when you give it juice, it will be in my town in about 6 seconds !!! LOL ! and yes i'll make sure to bring it back !!! NOT ! can't wait for the video.....i envision a blur at warp speed!

Thank you Lord Helmet !:D

Well, yes there is. As fast as your knees can go without getting rug burns.

But you mustn’t forget the motor boat noises with your mouth or you can never attain Shiny Bling speed!

Can't wait to see the video of this beast.

May the Schwartz be with you!

I got the pinons today and got them installed on the truck, took it for a test drive and everything seemed to be working good, (Que gigantic smile :D) This thing is impressive! Even on 4s I had trouble keeping it off the lid, a wheelie bar will be the next upgrade. The motors stayed very cool which will allow me to drop a couple more teeth on the spur for a bit more top end. Couldn't shoot any video as it was dark when I got home. I will try tomorrow but may have to work late again so no promises. There will be video this weekend for sure.

Glad you got to get a rip in with it mudslinger. A word of advice on wheelie bars; I don't know what your truck weighs, but on my VXL powered alloy pede, I kept destroying both stock Traxxas and even RPM wheelie bars, it would simply rip them apart in crashes. I went to a swami bar, and although it wasn't cheap, it's a bombproof setup and I couldn't be happier.

Well, here it is. Sorry for the poor quality. I'm still thinking of dropping a couple teeth on the spur, but with the gearing I'm using now on 4s I can accomplish half of a standing backflip.

And of course traxxas would beat me too it! :hehe:

A couple times, but I don't get much traction as the ground is still frozen. I think with 6s, the standing back flip should be easily attainable.

i don't know something just doesn't sound quite right, but maybe it's my speakers.

No not your speakers, my gear mesh was a little tight. I was afraid of stripping the spur. I got it loosened up a bit.

Cool. good work, you don't see many Vtwins going about now.I think any gearing work you do on it is going to be trial and error unless you know someone who has had or still got a vtwin.
