Using Savage X TVP's

Hey guys,

I have a Savage 25. I want to upgrade to Savage X TVP's. Now here's my question. I know some people mod their Savage 25 bulkheads to fit them, but if I were to get the Savage X bulkheads, will I still need to mod the bulkheads to fit them on? Also, are the bulkheads the only requirement to using Savage X TVP's? Please help! Thanks!

There is no modification to the bulkheads. You just need this part. The Al. posts that slide through the diff are hex shaped, not round like the older style.

Also you need to dremel the engine mount braces to clear the dogbone, so they look like these.

Awesome. Those came with one of the orders I placed. The engine plate also came like that, so there's no need for dremeling. Thanks man! I'm not sure if this is true, but will I need a different set of center dog bones?
