I spoke to HPI about the proper gearing to make my blitz brushless. they told me that if i got the castle link for hpi, i wouldnt have to changes gears, just adjust the timing. have any of you done this before, and if so, can you give me some guidance as to what to do?? thanks for any help!!

I'm running a Novak SS Pro 17.5 with a GTB...I have a 35 pinion and a 77 spur. It's has all the speed it needs and comes off the track at about 150 degrees.

your gearing should always be your starting point then esc settings "timing, boost, ect" is for your fine tuning and precision work.

agreed witht he post above me. gearing should be your first thing to look at. use the timing as a "fine adjustment"
