I've been setting up my VXL Rustler to do speed runs and while I have no current plans to go as extreme as to put a Mamba 2200kv in my Rustler I have noticed alot of those guy use gyros to make their kits more stable during high speeds. I'm tempted to try it out so I have two questions.

1) Should I use a gyro made for a heli or a gyro made for a drift car? Those are the two types of gyros I've seen floating around out there.

2) Any one actually installed one in a car and have an tips on how to do it?

What about the ones for drift cars? The couple of videos I saw where they were using Gyros they were also using regular pistol grip guns.....One guy was using a standard 2.4Ghz Traxxas stock TX.

The D-box can be used with land & marine radios. Some heli gyros can be manually set up as well and don't use the radio to control them.
