UPS Question

Hey guys. I bought an SC10 and it just shipped out today via UPS and it's schedule for delivery on Monday, but I have a race on Sunday and kinda' need it... so I was wondering, is it possible to go to the UPS location it's at by Saturday and pick it up there? How do I do that? I've never done anything like it before and I need it pretty bad by Sunday because it is the last race for a while. Thanks!

First of all, I'm not sure the distribution centers are even open to the public on Sundays. Of course the over the road drivers probably drive on Sundays but generally speaking, local distribution is shut down on Sundays. Besides, if it's scheduled to be delivered to your house on Monday that means it won't arrive at our local distribution hub until sometime in the mid-afternoon/evening sunday. When everybody is racing Sunday afternoon at your local track, your truck will more than likely be on a truck somewhere on a highway. "More than likely"

well with my experience it gets to the ups store that will deliver to you the day before but late at night... for me, if its supposed to get here friday, ill check thursday night and it will be just getting to the ups store that delivers to me.. not likely to get there two days ahead of time.. shouldve bought when you knew you had race coming up!!! Just my 2 cents though!!!srry

I mean Saturday to pick it up. Not Sunday. I was just wondering because the shipper didn't add a Saturday Delivery to it when they shipped it and there was nothing I could do once it was shipped out they had said. But anyway, would it still be the same case as the Sunday? Would it be out on the truck? Are they open on Saturdays? What are the fees for pick up? Thanks!

I payed last Sunday. The guy didn't get it shipped out today which really frustrated me. It only takes 15-20 minutes to get it out and he kept coming up with excuses, and now I'm in this situation and may be sitting all day.
