+2 on the violator tank
After breaking about 5 of them I gave up and went with the ofna tank, also help with weight distribution too I think
 
I have the Violator tank on my BB Max as well. It is pretty close to stock location....I think I hade to drill one hole? Been so long I really don't remember.
 
Well the violator tank is on its way as well. Should be here this week sometime. Maybe after all these bugs are worked out i can get more than a few tanks thru her before breaking something else. Or maybe not depending on my driving style. Thats the whole point right? Bash it break it fix it and repeat.
 
THS pipe came in and with some minor cutting managed to mount ofna u shaped manifold and pipe today. Ran 1 tank thru it to see difference and omg what a difference a 1/8 scale pipe makes on the picco. She woke up!!View attachment 12229

Violator tank came today. Now just waiting on the steering post which should be here tomorrow hopefully. Cut the bodie away from pipe just enough to have full view of the pipe. Looks good to me! Now I'm just ready to go bash the heck out of it this weekend.
 
Emaxx diffs and hot racing spider cases ordered and i decided to go with the Rubicon wrangler body. White on black or silver on black one. Will paint it tomorrow and post pics of body at least. Rear torn down now waiting on diffs. View attachment 12281View attachment 12282

Still have to cut the back out. It will after that for sure. Need to cut the windshield out as well for airflow.
 
That's the only thing I don't like about my Cherokee shell the fact that even if I cut a hole in the roof my igniter Still won't reach

I been considering the onboard ignitor myself. Just been to busy with buying all the other upgrades I've done so far. Then to top it off i wrecked the crap out of my buggy yesterday jumping a dirt road and smashed into a tree upon landing it so had to order about $30 worth of parts to fix it. Oh well at least no body can say i dont drive my RCs hard enough. If it can be jumped i try it.
 
Got my new emaxx diffs in and rebuilt them using hot racings aluminum spider cases and badhorsie locking lube. Got the front and back cut out for airflow and access to engine and pullstart with body mounted. Just waiting on my THS savage manifold tomorrow to complete the project maxx for now. Thanks. Shes coming around slowly but surely. Still need all Robinson Racing gears for tranny, slipper clutch and clutch bell. Then that should complete all i wanted to upgrade.
