Any plans for a new body? or are you just going to run the stock one for now?

Well, I bought a lexan body that I am going to attempt to paint my own design, but I'm not too artistic so we will see how that goes lol

Dont forget to include some pics of your ride as you start to build it up!!! We all love to see other guy's rigs and pics of upgrades etc.

I am going to take pictures throught the process of swapping all my upgrades when they come in as well as the painting process. Ill be sure to post them! I dont want to start another thread just for this, but I have a tuning question.

Once I am warmed up, the truck will idle, but when I go to gas it, it bogs down. Seems to bog a little bit when going from 1st to second, too rich right? adjust high speed first, then low speed?

Dont forget a roll cage, upgraded shocks, steel CVD's, aluminum shock towers, aluminum chassis braces, lighting kit (for those night runs), TX carying case, etc etc... unlike the money the list is endless. I have had a Tmaxx for about 2 years now that I easily have put $1200 into when considering the truck itself, replacement parts, upgrades, expendibles (fuel and plugs). And now that I've built the Tmaxx to my liking I've been toying with the idea of a second rig. Hmmm maybe a street car? mayber a crawler? maybe a plane?

Well. The upgrades begin. Here are a few pictures with the engine off and the EZ start junk removed. Next will be pics of the pull start install, shocks install, bulk heads, bulk braces, and shock towers, pretty much the whole center and rear of the truck haha.

Any tips and advice, please feel free to post.

Does anyone have any advice how to change out the bulk heads? Specifically, how do I slide the halves off over the rest of the A-arm assembly and tire hub? Does that shaft that goes to the tire split or something?

Print off the exploded diagram from the Traxxas site for reference. Once you seperate them from the chassis, it should make sense. After seperating from chassis, unbolt from the towers and they should slide off of the diff. Make sure that if you take the whole assembly apart to keep the diffs in the same orientation as you removed them.

BTW, I dont thhink that your pics worked...

i broke my connecting rod two weeks ago( 6 month old motor), called traxxas, sent it in and recieved a brand new motor in the box !!! sweet deal
