Just wanted to show off a little as I was working on cleaning and upgrading my RC's this weekend.

I put a 7075 front/rear shock towers, radio tray, and rebuilt the shocks and put dual rate springs on it. I also bought the 7075 pro kuckles for my pro so I took the Dynamite knucles off and put them on the RTR. The RTR is looking pretty sweet now

Now its ready for battle.

lol, you still have the stock springs on there???? You need to get longs and shorts in the back and mediums and shorts in the front.

Those are not the stock RTR springs. Those are the black medium length and long that come with the "Pro Shock" from GS that I have on my Storm Pro. So I have exactly what you are saying so good suggestion:thumbsup:

If you think its sitting funny it is. Look under the chassis and you will see 2 pieces of Traxxas foam its sitting on. Its not reall resting on its wheels.

I was saying that because your springs look like they are compressed alot, there isn't alot of space between coils.

The springs with the bigger gaps are the stock springs and I personally do not like the feel of them way to bouncy. All the upgrades springs are different colors for stiffnesses but they all look similar to the blacks springs in the picture. Here is a pic of it stock before I did the work on it. Look closey at the springs

Silent GT what kind of 1/8 buggy do you own?

I own a GS Storm myself and so does my friend which is great because if I break something, he's got a backup. He also has tons of alluminum. We get dealership prices for fioroni, medial pro, arrows, and Hot! products. Need anything? He has dual rate springs but he is using yellow on top and blue on the bottum. I recently got my storm running just last month but I had it for 5 months. I bought it used of the RCCA forums and got ripped of, the guy, Tim Taylor, never sent the buggy and held it for a month until I chatted with his wife (girlfriend) and he shipping it with bald tires and missing stuff. He had some extras in the deal but they naver came. XR3 Radio, Crowd pleazer body, Stock body. The car was missing alot and it took $150 just to get it running.
