Well I've busted 2 stock drive shafts and looking to upgrade. Has anyone ran golden horizon drive shafts. They look awesome. I might just pick up some traxxas cvds but I like the bling look.

I haven't used their drive shafts, but I have used a lot of their other parts on a number of my projects. The parts look great and work great.

Does anyone know of a mod that I can do to the end of the drive shaft? The keep on pulling the pins out of the u-joint that goes in the cup piece that attaches to the rear diff. My suspension isn't binding but I'm running just 2s.

Well I went to my lhs today and he sold me a set of traxxas cad's for $43. I thought was a smoking deal. What a pain they are to install.

Try putting some elctrical heat shrink tubing on it. I was having the same problem with my integy center drive shafts on my merv, put a peice of heat shrink on there and problem solved.

Also, I know it has been a few months and you already went with the cvd's but I should be getting my golden horizon driveshafts tomorrow or the next day. Let me know if you are still interested in how they work out.

Since I installed the cvds I havent had any issues. They were worth the money. But I'm still curious how they work out let me know.

Well, I am wishing that I went with the cvd's! These things have a lot of play in them when you slide the two halves together. I have also only been able to run it in rear wheel drive only since GH does not provide the screw pins that attach the driveshaft to the diffs. So, since I did not know that cause their listing does not say that you have to use your existing screw pins. I have to wait about another week and pay $3 in shipping for a $2 part to come in. It sucks not having a LHS, the closest one is about 90 minutes away. Anyhow, I give the GH Aluminum Driveshafts a BIG thumbs down, a waste of money!

That sucks. My cvds have alot of slop in the rear at the knuckles. I'm running hot racing aluminum ones. I'm going to swap them out of rpm this winter when I give it a good tear down. The only problem with the cvds is you have to completely tear they diffs apart.
