How many under head shims are there suppose to be on the button head? I have a Mugen MT-12 and I lost some of them and I don't remember how many were there.

When I tighten the screw that holds the clutchbell and clutch together, the clutchbell doesn't spin freely. Isn't it if you tighten the screw, it should spin freely, or do I keep it partly loose just tight enough to let it spin but not to loose?

Shims depend on the thickness of each shim and what percentage nitro you are running. It should say in the manual for the mill what it's shimmed too out of the box or somewhere on the Nova website. If you lost them, A Main and other bigger online shops usually sell replacements.

As for the clutchbell, it's the same thing, it needs to be shimmed properly. With the screw tightened down all the way you should get about 1mm or so of play and the cb should spin freely.

Hmm, what's weird is that when I didn't put in any shims for the CB, I tightened it all the way but it was still stuck. Do I tighten the clutch spring in more or do I get new bearings?

Ooops, different type of clutch, I read that wrong. Not sure what type of clutch setup you have on that, I was thinking 1/8th.
