Unbelievable engine destruction!

That's the only way it'd fit with the buggy header & ezystart.
Buggy header is on there coz I busted the stock pipe, then the THS header, I welded up the THS header & it broke again.
Had to grab the buggy pipe coz it was the only thing I could make fit that was available at the LHS.
It's higher than it looks in the pics, about chassis height, seems pretty safe there, had a few stacks & not a mark on it whereas in the stock position it was getting busted all the time. It's well protected by the tyres, can't really get hit unless I side swipe a pole between the tyres.

Anyway, got it broken in, it's a monster with that ofna carb on there, wheelstands changing into 2nd gear, wheelies on demand just with throttle application up to jogging pace - even with the 17/38 gearing, a barely broken in engine & a dead safe break in tune.
I reckon I'll gear it up some more, 17/36 should work great.

looks great but i reckon an angle plate run out from the chassis would protect
the exhaust;shame your not closer as i picked up some military grade titanium
plates 1.5mm thick[very light] which i have made various skid plates out of for my traxxas.
which like a f1 car throws up sparks when under braking across uneven tarmac.

Skate park shenanigans last night with lotsa air time, some hard hits etc say the pipe location is just fine, not a mark on it.
It actually sits above chassis height.

The mount is alloy plate, it aint' going anywhere!

New motor is well broken in now, almost 1/2 a gallon through it & loosening up nicely, goes like a cut snake with the ofna carb, buggy header & THS pipe, throttle response is outstanding, wheelstands at speed with 17/38 gearing & will pop the fronts up a little on the gearchange. Plenty of grunt for what I need even with is still on a dead safe tune.
