Hi guys,

Last weekend I was running on a parking lot and after that I noticed un-even tire wear. What is interesting is that there is more wear on front left and rear right wheels. Is that camber adjustment only, or something else to check to?

Thanks in advance.

check your camber adjustments and if you were only running in one direction like an oval one tire will wear more than the other.alwaye rotate your tires from side to side.

I had problems with uneven tire wear on my NTC3 also. But I broke down and bought a camber gauge and set them and now the tires wear even ..

I'm still contemplating which set up board and system I want to get, but what I do to check how well I set my camber is to roll my car across the concrete floor of the garage after I first wipe of the tread of the tires. The concrete leaves just enough of a white dust on the tread for me to see how they are contacting the ground. I use an RPM MT camber gauge to get it close and fine tune it with my cheesy method above.

Revo, the HUDY is nice but at a price. I would get the INTEGY system. It's annodized purple with white tick marks. It does everything the HUDY system will do, except for the tweak station if you want the Ultimate system. Purchase the tweak station seperately. SpeedMind makes one (that's what I use). It's accurate and only about $45. For the board, PMB makes a nice one or just purchase the sticker from HUDY and stick it onto a flat piece of 1/2 inch MDF board and you're set. All that for about $150. Good deal when compared to the HUDY which is in the upper $200. Ebay has a few of them for sale from time to time. That's a good place to start. If you're having trouble finding some at a good price, PM me and I'll see what I can do for you at my LHS. They ship out of state for preferred customers and referrals.

Diver, my favorite LHS has the Integy system for 69.00. Since I do nto race as often as some others, like you, I think I will go with that system and order a Hudy sheet to make my board. One question, though. What is the "Tweak' portion of the set up system?

The "Tweak station" allows you to properly balance your suspension so that weight is equally distribute on the chassis of the car via threaded shock bodies. You do that once you set your ride height. That way, the car is perfectly level and allows more accurate holeshots and weight transfer in turns.

Don't get me wrong, you'll still spin out if too much power is applied but with moderate throttle control, the car will perform with a more balanced feel. As I said, speed mind has one out and that's what I use. IF I get a wild hair up my butt, I will start using digital scales (4) to get a more accurate reading.

I saw a bank being constructed and asked the guys installing the bullet proof acrylic if I could get a scrap of it....10 bucks got me a 22" x 22" x 1.25" sheet.......don't need a sticker either if you have some nice drafting tools and a plexi scribe.......I'll be needing a set up station soon I think....
Diver do you know you can wipe orange paint on the Hudy (or any clear setup) and let it sink into the marks then wipe it all down...it leaves nice brite orange paint in the scribe markings and they are very noticable......check E-bay for PBS setup stations...they're the same as Hudy at about 55 bucks.....those are buggy and MT ones anyway....I've never thought of getting a TC set, don't race those.......yet

works great...my friend showed me his and it's nice...still have the clear stands so you can see better and the flourescent Orange stands out....he says it wears off after a while but it took 2 mins to do.....
