what tyres are best for drifting and what tyres have the best on tarmack?

Don't know about drifting, but for tarmac running a set of Sorex pre-mounts (brand of rubber tires) is what I use for racing. They come in various hardness ratings depending on what temp the surface is.

Hmmm...

For drifting, there are many types of drift tires. Rubber, plastic, ABS, and PVC to start off. Rubber tires are good for outside drifting, but they do tend to heat up and start gripping. With plastic tires, they are a great start for any surface. ABS is also good for any surface, but on smooth cement it may be to slippery. PVC is the most slippery drift tire. They are made for just all slide and no grip. That being said, you pick which is best for you. IMO plastic is the best. HPI makes the HPI T-Drift drift tire, and they are great for all surfaces. I use them on smooth flooring and this type of carpet at my LHS, and they all work great.

ok, am i a flippin retard here or what? I've ben spelling tyre, "tire" this whole time! is there a difference or what? is it a different spelling?
